1N4007 Diode Introduction

1N4007 Diode is a common rectifier diode, mainly used to convert AC to DC. ‌

1. Function: Rectification. 1N4007 uses the unidirectional conductivity of the diode to convert alternating AC into pulsed DC in a single direction. This feature makes it widely used in various AC-to-DC rectifier circuits, especially in bridge rectifier circuits.

2. Parameter characteristics: The maximum reverse withstand voltage of 4007 Diode is 1000V, the maximum forward average rectifier current is 1A, and the forward voltage drop is about 0.7V. It has a low forward voltage drop and a fast recovery time, and is suitable for low-frequency circuits.

3. Application areas: 1N4007 SMD is widely used in household appliances, power adapters, automotive electronics and other equipment.  For example, it can be used in the rectifier circuit of household appliances such as TVs, stereos, and electric fans to convert 220V AC to DC; in power adapters, it converts 220V or 110V AC to DC to provide stable power for other electronic devices; in vehicle-mounted electronic devices, it converts the vehicle’s power supply to stable DC.

4. Package form: 1N4007 usually adopts SOD123 ( A7 diode ) , SMA ( M7 diode ) and DO-41 package forms.
